Taking Time For Yourself
I think we can all agree that life can get a little hectic at times. The neverending to-do lists, and feeling that there is never enough time in a day to take care of yourself.
This summer I made a point to put myself first: going to the gym 5-6 days a week and really push myself to reach new boundaries and goals. I learned to strive for progress and not perfection. Consistency and discipline allowed me to get stronger over time.
Each day I left the gym feeling beyond proud of myself because I was doing something that was good for me and made me feel good. Now, donโt get me wrong there are days I am obviously just not feeling it but, I still push myself to go.
Learning to enjoy the satisfaction that comes afterwards and knowing that I didnโt give up is the ultimate feeling! I hope this post inspires you to push yourself mentally and physically!
